Alice Walthall Crews, age 67, of North Chesterfield, VA and formerly of Farmville, VA, passed away on September 24, 2016. She was born in Farmville, VA to Alfred W. "Tubby" and Jill Henretta Walthall on December 18, 1948. She was a member of the Farmville United Methodist Church and loved to sing in the choir. Her hobbies included making flower arrangements and tending to her cats. She was a strong person and a two-time cancer survivor. She was employed by Southside Urology Clinic in Farmville for 15 years, where she served 7 years as office manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert F. Crews, and a brother-in-law Bob Hazelwood.
She is survived by her son Shane P. Crews of Midlothian, VA; granddaughter Ava Raics of New Jersey; sister Frances W. Hazelwood of North Chesterfield, VA and niece Sandra Elliott and husband Brian of Midlothian, VA.
