Anna Jane Vernon

Anna Jane Vernon, 82 of Dillwyn, VA went home to be with Jesus and past loved ones on Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was born on June 11, 1931 in West Virginia to the late, Nettie Wade Davis and Willie L. Davis. She is the widow of Oscar C. Vernon and was a beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, sons; Robert, James, Jerry Vernon and Lillie Powell, Tammy Vernon, Theresa Chilcote and Connie King, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret Whorley. She was well loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Puckett Funeral Home from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 2:00PM at the Buckingham Community Cemetery. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
