Archer "Archie" Eugene Dunkley Jr

Archer “Archie” E. Dunkley Jr. age 71 of Farmville, VA passed away on November 16, 2016. He was born in Farmville on May 16, 1945 to the late Virginia Page and Archer E. Dunkley. He was raised on a tobacco farm and worked as a mechanic. He loved his work and there wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix, he was lovingly called “Mr. Fix it”.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Cecilia, his children; Mary Jo Cooper (Colin) of Keysville, Melinda Hanks (Robbie) of Keysville, Matthew “Rock” Dunkley (Tammy) of Abilene, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sister Deloris Bomar and a brother Wayne Dunkley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00PM at Westview Cemetery.
