Bettie Davis Maxey

Bettie Mae Davis Maxey, 82 of Farmville, VA passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1932 in Crewe, VA to the late Pearl Royall and Henry Raymond Davis. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her son; Harry C. Maxey Jr. and his wife Frankie of North Carolina, her siblings; David G. Davis, Pearl D. Carboro and Nathaniel B. Davis, grandchildren; Pamela Maxey Henshaw and husband Keith of Farmville, Bettie Maxey Dunnavant and husband J.W. of Louisa, Cynthia Maxey Bitrick and husband Mike of Earlysville and Harry C. Maxey III and wife Jamie of Buckingham; 11 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson with another great great grandson on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry C. Maxey Sr. and her son; Raymond David Maxey; her 2 sisters and 1 brother. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home, family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at noon until time of service.
