Betty Jane Rundstrom

Betty Jane Rundstrom age 83 of Cumberland Co VA went to be with the Lord on September 5th 2024. She was born on July 16, 1941 to James and Bertha Spencer of Chesterfield Co VA. She was 1 of 7 children. Betty loved anything that bloomed and grew, spending time with her sisters, she loved animals and cooking for her family. There was never a shortage of food when she was in the kitchen. Her greatest accomplishments though were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She put her heart and soul into raising their six children, five sons, Thomas/Bubba (Teresa), Art (Sherry), John (Michele), Bobby, David and one daughter, Betsy Jenkins (Bob). She had 12 grandchildren, Thomas (Kerri) Dustin (Jessica), Art Jr. (Carrie), Billy (Caryn), Brian (Megan), Melissa, Mason, Crystal, Haley, Dave and Wade and Walker Jenkins. And 13 great grandchildren Riley, Emmy, Kinsley, Oakleigh, Tamara, Arianna, Hannah, Autumn, Will, Layla, Brian, Addie and Tyler. Above all things though, was her love for her devoted husband of 65 years, Tom Rundstrom. Their love was nothing short of unconditional. They had a long adventurous life together, whether it be taking spontaneous road trips, or sitting on the front porch listening to the quiet of the woods. They were inseparable. Betty will be missed by all who knew her. Private arrangements have been made. The family would like to thank all who have reached out.
