Carolyn Lee Casteen White

Carolyn Lee Casteen White passed away at The Woodland in Farmville, Virginia, on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, October 26, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Putney Casteen and the late John V. Casteen, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Anne White and Scott Wauford, of Marietta, Georgia, two grandsons, Hunter Pursell, also of Marietta, and Wesley Wauford, of Tennessee, and one granddaughter Emmy Mize, of Louisana; by her son, Stephen White, of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; by her sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Michael Lund, of Farmville, her nephew John Lund, of Norfolk, Virigina, and her niece Meredith Lund, of Glen Allen, Virginia; and by a large extended family, among them her cousin, Lucie Zehner, of Farmville. She had many devoted friends among The Woodland residents and staff..

A graveside service will be held on Monday November 21, 2011 at Olive Branch Cementery in Portsmouth, VA.
