Carolyn Rowsey Dickerson

Carolyn Rowsey Dickerson age 65 passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She is the wife of Charles Dickerson. She was born in Farmville, VA on May 19, 1947 to the late A.C. and Bernice Rogers Rowsey. She went to Cumberland County School and in 1968 married the love of her life. She and Charles built their home together where they raised two sons .Carolyn worked outside the home until the last ten years where she was loved by her friends and community. She attended Calvary Tabernacle Church and had a close relationship with God. She love to decorate inside and outside her home and made it a beautiful and loving place for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Charles, two sons; Charles “Chuck” D. Dickerson Jr. of Meherrin VA and Brant “Chip” C. Dickerson (Stacy) of Lancaster, PA., three brothers; Wiley Rowsey, Jerry Rowsey and Donnie Rowsey, five grandchildren; Caitlin, Harley, Cameron, Ethan and Audrey as well as her two great grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 1:00PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Puckett Funeral Home from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made Calvary Tabernacle Church Building fund Farmville, VA.
