Charlotte Louise Elder Etherton

Charlotte Louise Elder Etherton age 77 of Farmville passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. She was born on April 20, 1936 in Farmville VA, to the late Louise Weeks Elder and John Lou Elder. She is the wife of the late Raymond C. Etherton. She worked at Wrights Stop In, Grand Prix and after her retirement, she spent all her time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son; Johnnie Ray Etherton of Farmville, VA, a daughter; Shelby Asal (Freddie) Of Farmville, VA a brother; Carlton Elder of Cumberland VA, six grandchildren; Jessica Asal, Amanda Manning, William Etherton, Derek Etherton, Jennifer Etherton and Cody Etherton, six great grandchildren; Charlee, L.J., Hailie, Phoenix, Madison and Avery. She was preceded in death by her brothers; John Lou Elder Jr and Jasper Alexander Elder. She believed family was the most important and every one who knew her felt they were part of the family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6:00PM – 7:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens Rice, VA. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
