Cornelius Ferguson

Cornelius (Earl) Ferguson, 85, of Prince Edward, VA, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. He was born in Cumberland County on January 31, 1932 to the late Arthur and Ethel Ferguson. He worked for more than 25 years for the Department of Forestry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Robertson Ferguson, a son Cornelius Ferguson, Jr (Bo) and 2 brothers, Arthur Ferguson and James Ferguson.

He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Ferguson Keen (Robert Keen) of Ford, VA and a son, Kenneth Ferguson (Sheron Ferguson) of Trenton, NC, 7 grandchildren Robert Keen, Jr (Donna Keen), Stephanie Failing, Heather Keen-Henderson (Maurice Henderson), Daniel Ferguson (LeAnn Ferguson), Kenneth Ferguson, Jr, Kelli Ferguson and Harlee Ferguson, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Puckett Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 1:00pm with interment at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 12:00pm.
