David Lee Arbitelle

Pastor David L. Arbitelle Sr. 67, of Jetersville, VA, graduated to his heavenly home unexpectedly on May 9, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Trudy Jean Arbitelle; two sons, David Jr and Charles (Sara); daughter, Jeannette Gratz (Richard); nine grandchildren, Triton Gratz, Liberty Gratz, Alexandria Arbitelle, Justice Gratz, Bryson Gratz, Rebecca Arbitelle, Elizabeth Arbitelle, Isabella Arbitelle, and Thomas Arbitelle; two brothers Michael Arbitelle (Sandy), Dennis O’Hara (Renee); one sister Paula Danzy; and several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Arbitelle; his mother, Octavia Brill; and three brothers, Mark Arbitelle, Richard (Dick) Arbitelle, and James O’Hara.

David was born August 3, 1950, in Oberlin, Ohio. He graduated from New Milford High School and received his associates degree from Bethany Bible College. He came to know Christ as his Savior in 1974 and surrendered his life to the ministry in 1976. He pastored several churches throughout his life but was the pastor of Holly Farms Road Baptist Church in Rice, VA for the last 21 years.

Visitation will be held at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, from 6-8 PM on Monday, May 14, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held at Holly Farms Road Baptist Church in Rice at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
