Douglas Lee Hunsucker Sr. April 28,1959 - July 27, 2023 of Charlotte Court House, Virginia.

Survived by wife Terri Hunsucker, 3 sons; Jacob Samuel Hunsucker, fiancé Ashley Mayhew, granddaughter Bailee Hunsucker and grandson Shayne McAllister; son Joshua Charles Hunsucker, wife and children; and son Douglas Lee Hunsucker Jr., wife and children, two sisters; Tammy Ann Ammen and children; and Debbie Fowler and husband. Predeceased by son Charles Jason Hunsucker “Charlie”; mother Lillie May Hunsucker and father Douglas V. Hunsucker; sister Donna Thomas.

Doug was born in Kentucky where he would later go back often to visit his uncle Charlie. He grew up and attended school in Arlington Virginia where he met his high school sweetheart. They found their happy place out in the country of Charlotte County where Doug liked to spend most of his time working on the farm and being with his honey. Doug traveled for work for many years before he retired as a master electrician giving him more time to spend with his family! Doug enjoyed riding the side-by-side and working on vehicles with his son Jake, going to Amish auctions with Terri to collect new animals for the farm and cuddling with Bailee making her giggle was a few of his favorite things. Doug was a thoughtful man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and was loved by so many! The family will be having a celebration of life on the farm with close family and friends.
