Elizabeth Joy Henry

Elizabeth Joy Henry, of Farmville, Va. and formerly of Annapolis, died of cancer November 15 at the Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va.
She was born March 29, 1941, in Tarrytown, N.Y., to the late Elizabeth Joy and Barham R. Gary. Joy was an avid crafter and participated in many local craft shows. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and attended many conventions on the East Coast.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Henry; daughter, Sandee L. Draper and husband, Ray; two grandchildren, Jessica L. and R.J. Draper of Farmville, Va.; sister-in-law, Bonnie Henry of Surfside Beach, S.C.; numerous cousins and nieces; and grand-nephew, Donnie Dodson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20 at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, Va. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home just before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
