Elizabeth Muriel Bryan Fleshman Branscombe went to be with her Lord July 3, 2010. She was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina October 23, 1917. She moved to Williamsburg, Virginia as an infant when Williamsburg still had dirt roads. Mrs. Branscombe was the widow of Elwood F. Fleshman and, her 2nd husband, Robert Branscombe.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole F. Desmond of Pearland, Texas and husband, John. Also granddaughters Bonnie Pollock of Friendswood, Texas and Holly Bennett and husband, Wade of Pearland, Texas and Great-Granddaughters, Lauren Pollock, Avery and Anna Bennett. She is also survived by her son, David R. Fleshman of Rice, Virginia, and wife, Rose, and grandson, Joshua Fleshman of Williamsburg.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Lion of Judah Ministries in Blackstone, Virginia. Burial will be in Williamsburg, Virginia, at a later time. In Lieu of flowers please make memorials to Scope/Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 758, Farmville, Virginia 23901.
