Estel Arlon Cook

Mr. Estel Arlon Cook, 80 of Farmville passed away Monday evening May 31, 2010 in Farmville. He was born February 16, 1930. He was the son of the late Estel and Inez Chandler Cook. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Maebelle Bowles Cook, his sons, William Thomas Cook and wife, Dianne of Appomattox and Larry Lee Cook and wife, Christine of Farmville, his daughter Sharon Cook Caldwell and husband, Kent of Crewe, his brother, Roy Cook and wife, Carol of Glen Allen, Virginia, sister, Betty Lathan and husband, Larry of Cumberland and his seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Childrey Cook.
A funeral service was held Thursday June 3, 2010 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Randolph Vol. Fire Department or to the American Cancer Society.
