Evelyn S. Goin

Evelyn S. Goin, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad "Tommy" J. Goin; her brother, W. Alton Smith; and her granddaughter, Allyson Lindsey Hart.
She is survived by her two sons, Marvin C. Goin and wife, Caren, and Michael R. Goin and wife, Debra; four grandchildren, Kris, Samantha, Ashley and John; three stepgrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Audrey Fisher and husband, Ralph, Frances Lucado and husband, Robert; and one brother, Ronnie C. Smith and wife, Marcia; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her close companion, Cookie, her dog.
The family will receive friends at Puckett Funeral Home of Farmville on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and services will be at Prospect United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010.
