Frank George Hoffman

Frank George Hoffman, 92 of Pamplin, VA passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born November 5, 1919 and was the husband of the late Florence Walrod Hoffman. He is survived by his daughters; Bobbie Osborne and husband, Charlie of Appomattox, Kelly Elder and husband, David, of Brookneal; seven grandchildren; Tracy O. Kearney and husband, Kevin of Goode, Cory M. Osborne and wife, Dianne of Appomattox; Anna, Erin, Sara, Joel and Seth Elder; four great-grandchildren: Nathan, Heidi and Bethany Kearney, and Cody Osborne. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Amie Hoffman. Frank served our country during WWII as an airplane mechanic in the US Army Air Corp. He was an avid hunter and golfer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department.
