Gladys Jewel Dowler

Gladys Jewel Covington Dowler, 83 of Farmville, VA went to dance with the angels on February 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Dowler and long time companion of Charlie Handcock of Drakes Branch. She was preceded in death by her father Martin B. Covington and mother Lelia M. Covington, her brother Melvin Covington. She is survived by her son Michael Dowler and wife Beth of Farmville and daughter Darlene Dowler and fiancée Tony Moore of Cartersville, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday February 25, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from
6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
