Harold Allen Jones

Mr. Harold Allen Jones, 62, of Farmville passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester C. and Beulah Mottley Jones of Farmville.
Harry graduated from Prince Edward Academy in 1965. Harry was a master cabinet maker and while living in Corpus Christi, Texas, he worked in many phases of construction. Harry had a passion for all things of nature and spent many happy hours in his flower and vegetable gardens. He had a zest for and a love of life that amazed all around him.
Harry is survived by his sons, Allen Jones and girlfriend, Kristy, grandchildren, Allie and Max; and his son, Caine Leonard Jones. He is also survived by his sister, Andrea Jones Wilkerson and husband, Calvin of Farmville, his nephews, Cal Wilkerson of Charlottesville, Matt Wilkerson of Raleigh, NC, five great nieces and nephews, aunts, Ruth Jones Freeman, Evelyn Mottley Lawrence and uncle, Marshal Jones. He also leaves behind many devoted friends.
A memorial service celebrating Harrys life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2009 11:30AM at Wilcks Lake State Park in Farmville. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
