Hazel Elizabeth Heffner

Hazel E. Collins Heffner 73 of Prospect, VA passed unexpectedly on May 10, 2023.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Raymond H. Heffner, her mother Mary J. Donaldson, father Fred C. Collins Sr, grandson Trent A Brunson, and her brother John M. Collins Sr, nephew Jacob F. Collins.

She is survived by two daughters Lynda Collins Brunson, Tabitha Collins Fuller (John), brothers; Wesley Donaldson (Kelly), Fred Collins Jr. (Elizabeth), Steven Collins (Kat), sisters; Shari Donaldson (Robbie), Patty Collins May and Joy Collins Hussing, grandchildren; Summer Staton, Lauren Johnson, Tony Brunson Jr, Trevor Brunson, Tiffany Brunson, Troy Brunson, Daniel Fuller, Joseph Fuller, Jenell Fuller. Also Joseph Jarman who was like a grandson to her and a friend, 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Hazel was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.

She loved animals of all kinds! Anyone wanting to contribute to the ASPCA in her name would be greatly appreciated.
