Jeffrey Ryan Atkins

Jeffrey “Jeff” Ryan Atkins, 58, passed away on July 30, 2023 in Lynchburg, VA after his battle with cancer. He is proceeded in death by his parents Basil & Marie Atkins. 

 

Jeff is survived by many family members and friends. He was known for being an avid outdoorsman. He particularly loved hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, and umpiring baseball/ softball. He was a previous member of the Hampden- Sydney Volunteer Fire Department, Farmville Volunteer Fire Department, & Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad. 

 

A private service will be held at a later date. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family would like to request (to honor Jeff) that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
