Jerry Lee Jamerson Jr. passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his home in Cumberland. He was born in Farmville on August 3, 1964. He graduated from Buckingham County High School in 1982. Jerry Lee was a dedicated employee of Fisher Auto Parts for 22 years and was promoted to manager in 2009. Jerry Lee is survived by his loving, devoted wife and best friend of 21 years, Diane; mother and father, Zanie and Jerry of Buckingham; mother-in-law Ella Dunn of Farmville; brother-in-law Steve Dunn and wife Liz of Cumberland; brother-in-law Douglas Dunn of Farmville; nephew Chris Dunn and wife Shelley and their daughter Haley of Cumberland and niece Emily Dunn of PA. He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. Jerry Lee loved spending time at the old Jamerson home place and also in Cades Cove, TN. He also loved his pets, Tracker and Harley. Jerry Lee was widely known throughout the community and touched the lives of so many, it is impossible to list everyone who loved him. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 17th at Salem United Methodist Church in Buckingham at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Buckmasters BADF Life Hunt, P.O. Box 244022, Montgomery, AL 36124. This organization allows the opportunity for disabled children to experience hunting and outdoor adventures.
