John Douglas Bollinger age 73 of Farmville, VA passed away on January 10, 2016.
He was born in Farmville, VA to the late Harvey Robert and Catherine
Davis Bollinger on May 17, 1942.
He served his country in the US Army and was a proud member of the
VFW. He was a member of the Square Hunt Club,the Moose Lodge and a
member of the Church of God.
He retired from Moores Distributing and the started several
business’s, B&M Greenhouse, JR’s Quick Corner, Walkers Diner,
Bollinger Recylcling.
He was married to his wife Anita Campbell Bollinger on April 26, 1980
and love spending time with his children ans grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Anita, 1 son, James Bruce Baldwin (Laura)
of Farmville, a daughter, Angie Baldwin Reynolds (Jeff) of Keysville,
1 sister, Hester B. Fore (Earl) of Richmond, 8 grandchildren, Anthony
Coyle, Nicholas Coyle, Michael Douglas Coyle, Jessie Davis Coyle, Dr.
James Baldwin, Nichole Baldwin, Morgan Borum, Autumn Barton and
1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Catherine B. Coyle.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 2:00PM
in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow at
Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday,
January 13, 2016 from 5:30PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Puckett
