John Michael Duggan, Jr. of Dillwyn passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 28, 2011. He was born March 23, 1968 to John Michael Duggan and Michele Lefevre. John was a partner in the land surveying firm of Watson and Duggan, PLC, Farmville. He held both A and B Land Surveying Licensure. He was partner with Greg Watson, his best friend and “my brother” as John always called him. John was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed canoeing, hiking, swimming and starting but never finishing projects. He had a great sense of humor, was fun-loving and very mischievous. He was an animal lover and he thoroughly enjoyed his baby “Bella” (Doberman Pincher). John will be remembered most for the devotion and love he showed to his wife and children. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend to all. He is survived by his wife, Lauren Duggan of Dillwyn, his children, Lindsay Hagstrom, Joshua Duggan and Patrick Duggan all of Dillwyn, his brother, Brian Duggan of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, many loving nieces and nephews and an amazing unofficially adopted son, Sean. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 31, 2011 6:00-8:00pm at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
