Joseph Ray Noblin

Joseph Ray Noblin 77 of Prospect, VA passed away on December 12, 2014. He was born in Farmville, VA on January 13, 1937 to the late James C. and Mary Roller Noblin. He was retired from VDOT and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He loved to volunteer at Centra Southside Hospital and going to the YMCA. He was a devoted husband to Betty Arrington Noblin and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, one son; David Ray Noblin (Paula) of Chesapeake, VA two grandchildren; Brady Taylor Noblin and Allie McConnell Noblin, one sister; Linnie N. Kernodle (Warren) of Hampden Sydney, VA. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Julian C. Noblin, Carey R. Noblin and one sister; Emma N. Woodson. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
