Kenneth Victor Kragh

December 3, 1930 — October 7, 2010

Kenneth Victor Kragh, Sr., 79, of Curdsville, VA, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, October 5, 2010.

Born and raised in Southern Maryland (Charles County), and previously of Roanoke, VA, he was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a former Virginia State Police Trooper and retired from a career with the U.S. Treasury Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, St. Johns Lutheran Church and Curdsville Community Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Linn and Agnes Kragh, his brothers Anton, Leonard, Alvin, Robert and Charles and his sister, Mildred Byrne.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Barbara Kragh, his brothers: Calvin and Clarence Kragh, his sisters: Owna Sullivan and Loretta Rollins, his children: Chris and Sharon Kragh, Victor Kragh and Bonnie Kragh all of Roanoke and Dennis Hragh of Denver, CO, his grandchildren: Stephanie Moiczek, John Kragh, Brian Kragh, Nicholas Kragh, Stephen Allman, Mark Allman and Sarah Allman and his great-grandchildren: Jessica and Grace Freeman, Brandon and Matthew Moiczek, Sadie Rain Kragh and Noah Riley Kragh.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Johns Lutheran Church or Smyrna United Methodist Church.
