Korey Lewis Atkins

Korey Lewis Atkins, entered his eternal rest on the evening of Monday November,11 2024 at the young age of 31.

Korey was born on March 26,1993 in Richmond, Va to his mother Joni McGall Elliott and his father Donnie Ray Atkins. 

He attended school in Chesterfield, Va where he later received his GED. At a young age, Korey enjoyed playing sports like basketball and soccer. He also enjoyed playing video games throughout his life with his sister and friends. As he grew into a teenager, his passion for music took over when he fell in love with playing guitar and jamming out with his friends in Guthrie's basement. Korey was such a sensitive soul, and anyone who really knew him knows how kind his heart was. He loved his family and friends so much, and we will all miss him dearly.

Left to cherish Korey's memory here Earthside are his parents Donnie Ray Atkins of Burkeville, Va, Joni McGall Elliott (Tim Elliott- step father) of Chester , Va, his older sister Kassi Atkins Holcomb (Jeremiah Holcomb- brother in law) of Richmond, Va, his Grandfather Tom Atkins of Burkeville, Va, his step-sisters Elaina and Cassandra Elliott of Powhatan, Va, his three nieces Kenzi, Cara, and Lexi, and many other close family and friends. 

Although Korey left this world prematurely, he touched the lives of so many. May we always remember those beautiful blue eyes and that cheeky smile. Forever in our memories cast, until we meet again at last.
