Laura Norris Campbell

Laura Norris Campbell, 92 of Farmville, VA passes away on October 2, 2014. She was born in Farmville, VA on November 7, 1921 to the late John and Lillian Poultney Campbell. She grew up in Ligoniar PA and attended Ligoniar High School, where she graduated. After high school she moved to VA and worked as a real estate agent. She moved back to PA where she was married and had her first child Johnny and later Buddy. She could not stay away from VA and moved back to Farmville where she sold real estate and started working for the Prince Edward Sheriffs Dept. She worked dispatch and was a court room office until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Worthy Grand Matron, a member of the Real Estate Association and the Virginia sheriffs Association. She loved to bake and share her cooking with friends and family. She is survived by one son; Buddy Campbell of Farmville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Johnny Campbell. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
