Lavera F Wilkerson

Lavera F. Wilkerson, 93 of Farmville, VA passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was born in Alleghany County in Covington VA to the late Edward and Lucy Forbes on November 30, 1923. She worked as a Registered Nurse and was married to the late Garland Wilkerson, a tobacco buyer. She was a proud member of The Eastern Star.
She is survived by her children; Daye S. Lowe and Eddie S. Knick, a brother Hampton E. Forbes Jr. (Betty), a sister Dreama F. Jones, grandchildren; Edward H. Lowe and David W. Lowe, great grandchildren; Amber Lowe, Hunter Lowe, Brody Lowe and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Dorothy F. Sue and brother in law Jim Jones.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery.
