Lewis Earl Christy

Lewis Earl Christy 75 of Farmville, VA passed away on March 25, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1943 to the late Clair C. and Alda Heyworth Christy in Strafford, NJ.
H grew up in Pine Hill, NJ and joined the US Navy in 1960. When he got out he worked as an electrician for the IBEW Local Union 98.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Haines Christy, 2 sons Charles Christy (Mary) from Florida, Steven Christy from NJ, 1 daughter Shannon Gilbert (David) of Farmville, 2 sisters Linda Skelly (John) of NJ, Clair Gregory of NJ and 7 grandchildren, Brent Christy, Caitlin Schmidt, Eric Christy, Kyle Christy, Carlie Christy and David Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandson Sean Christy and 4 brothers John, Charles, Harold and Lawrence Christy.
