Lindsey Marie Mccraw

McCraw, Lindsey Marie, age 29, of Meherrin was called to her Heavenly home on January 20, 2020. She was born Sept 1, 1990, the daughter of Thomas Mark Fowler and Rebecca Ferguson Thompson. Lindsey was a graduate of the class of 2009 of Cumberland County High School. She loved life, loved spending time with family and friends and her animals. Lindsey was happiest when she was outdoors. She had a kind spirit and loved helping others.

She is survived by her parents Mark (Theresa) Fowler and Rebecca (Steve) Thompson. She also leaves behind maternal grandparents Emmett and Gracie Ferguson (Meherrin) and paternal grandparents Marie Fowler and the late Bo Fowler (Hampden Sydney). She is also survived by a sister Holly Tomlinson (Chris) of Victoria; brother Danny Snead (Pam) of Meherrin; stepbrother Steven “Tony” Thompson (Rae) of Prospect; stepbrother Jeremy Thompson of Tennessee and stepbrother Steven “T. J.” Thompson (Ashley) of Cumberland. Lindsey held dear to her heart nieces and nephews: Brittany Tomlinson, Hannah Thompson, Abbey Tomlinson, Christopher Tomlinson, Kendall Snead, Riley Thompson, Hadley Snead and Camden Findlay. She will be missed dearly by many cousins, family members, and friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, Va. Visitation will be held at Puckett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Meherrin, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Meherrin SPCA or Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Meherrin, Va. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of love and support throughout this difficult time.
