Lula Webber Hackney Lewis

Lula Webber Hackney Lewis age 87 of Farmville, VA passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1926 the daughter of the late Frank and Verna Webber. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter; Elsie Hackney and her 4 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband; Ralph Lewis, 6 Sons; James L. Russell Jr. (Mary) of Florida, Luther E. Russell (Tammy) of Petersburg, John W. Hackney of Farmville, Charlie T. Hackney (Debbie) of Pamplin, David E. Hackney (Donna) of Farmville and Ronnie L. Hackney (Cheryl) of Rice; 3 daughters; Lula Carter (the late Mike) of Lynchburg, Peggy Lewis (Jimmy) of Farmville and Lucille Tinch (Jerry) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren, 3 brothers; Edward Webber of Pamplin, Howard Webber of Cumberland and Henry Ray Webber of California along with 3 sisters; Ruby Berry and Youwilder Garrett both of Richmond and Mildred Ann Switzer of Illinois. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00PM at Maranatha Baptist Church with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
