Maggie Dunevant Blanton

Maggie Dunevant Blanton age 90 of Farmville, VA passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was born on September 20, 1923 to the late Richard P. and Katie D. Dunevant in Buckingham County, VA. She was a devoted member of Brown’s Presbyterian Church, where the service will be held. She is the widow of Henry A. Blanton III and is survived by 3 sons, Henry A. Blanton IV and his wife, Joan of Cumberland; Richard S. Blanton and his wife Libby of Cumberland and Cary A. Blanton of Cumberland and his companion,Carolyn Maples,of Appomattox, VA, a brother Warren F. Dunevant of Lynchburg, two sisters; Evelyn D. Berryman of Williston, FL and Barbara D. Hollister of Moseley, VA four grandchildren; Helene A. Blanton, Henry A. Blanton V, Holly A. Blanton and Heidi Blanton-Pohl, and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Richard M. Dunevant. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00AM in the Brown’s Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Puckett Funeral Home. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
