Margery Ellen Hopkins Fuller

Margery Ellen Hopkins Fuller, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, February 28 at Hickory Hill Retirement Community. Margery received her bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education from Bowling Green State University in 1945 where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She married Richard G Fuller on July 5, 1946 in West Springfield, PA. They lived in Conneaut OH where they raised four children. In 1985, after retiring, Marge and Dick moved to the Farmville VA area. She was an active member of the Farmville United Methodist Church where she actively participated in United Methodist Women, the church book club and many other church related activities and missions. She was an avid gardener, loved reading books, trying new recipes, and walking in the neighborhood. She was proceeded in death by her husband Dick and her son Greg. Survivors include a son, Brad (Donna) Fuller of Farmville, daughter Jackie (Bill) Morrison of Pine Mountain Georgia, daughter Becky (Tony) Venezia of Wheaton IL, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Memorial Contributions may be given to Farmville United Methodist Church or Hickory Hill Retirement Community activity fund.
