Marie Conwell

Marie Conwell age 63 of Farmville VA passed away at her home Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was the wife of Pastor Steve Conwell. She was born on July 14, 1949 in Whitakers NC to the late Louise Cooper Wells and Clarence Wells Sr. She loved children, raised her own and fostered many others. She worked with young people at church and directed childrens programs. She showed her love of the Lord thru her work with young people. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Steve Conwell, her children; Steven Larry Conwell Jr. (Jessi ) of Farmville, Timothy Mark Conwell (Renee’ ) of Keysville and Regina Danielle Conwell of Farmville, 7 grandchildren; Taylor Nicole Conwell, Hayley Morgan Conwell, Jordan Thomas Conwell, Hannah Madison Conwell, Stephen Aubrey Conwell, Steven Larry Conwell III and Brooke Erin Conwell. She also leaves behind 3 sisters; Berniece Lewter, Faye Richards, Mary Boyce a brother, Gilbert Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clarence Wells Jr and Donald Wells. A funeral service will be held Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2:00PM in Maranatha Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
