Mary Baldwin Hamilton 'Mary Lou'

Our beloved Mother, Mary Baldwin Hamilton (“Mary Lou”), departed this life for her eternal home the evening of February 6, 2015 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late David C. Hamilton, Sr. Mary Lou, known for her kindness and generosity, devoted her life to taking care of others. She raised four children while caring for her husband during his lengthy illness with MS. She is survived by her four children, David C. Hamilton, Jr., Douglas R. Hamilton, Lisa Hamilton Williams (fiancé’ Michael Moore) and Cheryl Hamilton Marston (spouse Jonathan Marston) and two grandchildren Lindsey and Ross Hamilton and one great grandchild Trevor Dodd. Surviving siblings are Frank Baldwin, Morton Baldwin, Rachel Clarke and Bessie Hodges. She also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 3:00pm in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. Family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00-3:00pm at Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nottoway County Rescue Squad.
