Mary Elizabeth Bowling

Bowling, Mary Elizabeth, 94 passed away at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, VA on November 28, 2021. Mary was the daughter of Bessie and Lacy Sexton, Sr. She was born in Bramwell, W. VA. Her husband, Roy Alexander Bowling of Princeton, W. VA, predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Thomas A. Bowling, Sr. of Pamplin, VA; wife, Shirley Bowling of St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania; daughter, Gwendolyn B. Stone and husband, Duane of Keysville, VA. Three grandsons that were dearly loved, Joshua Stone of Keysville, VA, Jacob Stone and wife Ashlee of St. Matthews, S.C. and Thomas Bowling, Jr. of Suffolk, VA. One granddaughter, Elizabeth Erich and husband, Ray of St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania. Six great grandchildren, Zachary Stone, Daphne Stone, Rosie Erich, Everett Erich, Bobby Dunn and Alexis Stone. She was a lifelong member of the Women of the Moose. The Bowling’s moved to Norfolk, VA where they raised their family until retirement. They then moved to Meherrin, VA where they lived for many years.
Visitation will be from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. on Sunday, December 5th at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville, VA. Funeral will be at Puckett Funeral Home on Monday, December 6th at 11:00A.M.
