Mary Elizabeth Pipjunge

Mary Elizabeth O’Bryant Pipjunge 82 of Cumberland, VA passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014. She was born in Buckingham, VA to the late John Thomas and Evelyn Walker O’Bryant on July 18, 1932. She grew up in Buckingham and in 1956 married Gaylord Pipjunge. She worked at Craddock Terry Shoe Corp but spent the last 19 years cooking for the children at Cumberland School Cafeteria. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved to cook for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Gaylord Pipjunge, one son, Kenneth Pipjunge and his wife Jennifer, of Richmond, VA, two grandchildren; Melissa and Wesley Pipjunge, a brother; John O’Bryant of IA, and two sisters; Frances Leatherwood of Farmville and Barbara Gorgus of Buckingham. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
