Mary Ellen Burnette

Mary Ellen Neese Burnette 80 of Rice, VA passed away on November 26, 2015. She was born on August 19, 1935 to the late Dewey M. and Ellen Hagee Neese.

She was married to Daniel Burnette Jr. of Rice, VA and has 4 children; Sheila Burnette, Rosemary Scott both of Rice, Daniel “Danny” Burnette III of Farmville and Janet Rice of Dallas TX, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings and survived by 5 other siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM – 2:00PM before the service.
