Mary Lee Delany Bray

Mary Lee (Delany) Bray, age 50 of Keysville Virginia passed away Monday August 26th, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Hampton VA to William and Charlotte Delany on July 22, 1963. She was raised in Hampton and attended Bethel High School class of 82. Mary went to Chowan University and then to VCU where she met her husband Rory Bray. They were wed in 1987. She was a loving wife, mother, Grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts, auctions , and her grandchildren. She attended New Life Assembly of God church. Mary is survived by her husband Rory Bray of Keysville, son Justin Bray of Keysville, Daughter Jessica Raper of Keysville, Son in law James Raper of Keysville, two Grandsons Jayden and Noah Raper of Keysville , An Aunt and Uncle Bob and Hazel Jones of Canton N.C., her Mother and Father in law Don and Brenda Bray of Powhatan VA, numerous nieces and nephews, three sister in laws, and a brother in law. She is preceded in death by her parents. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville VA. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel of New Life Assembly of God Church with a reception to follow at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
