Mary Lillian Mason Jamerson

Mary Lillian Mason Jamerson, 83, passed away on January 15, 2012, after an extended illness. She was born in Cumberland, on February 7, 1928, to Nannie Sue Sloan Wright and Leonard Mason. She was a lifelong member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Cumberland. She was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Melvin Jamerson; her daughter Sandra Louise Jamerson Grubbs (Bill); one grandson Kevin Wayne Grubbs; one sister Amanda Mason; and two brothers, Robert 'Bill' Mason and Harry Paine Mason. She is survived by her two sons, David Melvin Jamerson (Vertia) and Ronald Wayne Jamerson (Elizabeth), both of Cumberland; four sisters--Nellie Wilkerson, Fay Barlowe, Nancy Carol Cole, Elizabeth Harr, and one brother William Horace Wright. She is also survived by five granddaughters, Roxanne Grubbs of Lynchburg; Tammy Frank (Jimmy), of Cumberland; Rhonda Hamlette (Barry) of Cumberland; Robin Kegley (Clint) of Bland; andTracy Gula (Tommy) of Chesapeake, as well as great grandchildren, Sommer, Jordan, Brittney, Pierce, Hannah, and Davis, and one special family friend Sherry Davis. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 2:00pm at Antioch United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2012 6:00-8:00pm at the Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville.
