Mavis Thompson Baldwin

BALDWIN, Mavis Thompson, 82, of Farmville, formerly of Crewe, Va., went to be with her Lord on January 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and devoted caregivers. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Morton R. Baldwin, daughter Robin A. Baldwin, sister Joyce T. Dunkum, and cousins Janice Dunnavant Burkhart (Wayne) and Howard Greene (Susan). In addition to her family and her faith, Mavis dearly loved her wonderful caregivers who became part of her cherished family.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 10 from 10:00 AM to 11:30AM at Puckett Funeral Home, 115 Covington Court, Farmville VA with funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. at Farmville Church of Christ, 1401 Milnwood Rd, Farmville, VA and burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Burkeville, VA. While flowers are appreciated, the family asks that donations be made in Mavis’s honor to the Farmville Church of Christ 1401 Milnwood RD, Farmville, VA 23901.
