His children Olivia Clark, Joseph Adams, Michael G Adams. and Kayla Higgins. His grandchildren Adelyn, Skylar, Slaytor, Stevie and Jameson. Nieces and nephews Patience, Kalem and Autumn Burton, Jay Owen and Kyle Morrison and great nephew Barrett Bullock. Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins and many friends he thought of as family. He was also predeceased by his grandparents Charlie and Minnie Baldwin and Gordon and Nancy Adams, as well as several Aunts and Uncles and cousins that were more like brothers and sisters...we are a large family and close knit. He fought just as hard as he loved. He could pick with them but no one else could. Michael was a freebird, he lived like he wanted, did what he wanted. What you saw was what you got. Many of his friends called him MadDog. He was a talented carpenter and a math genius, he could pretty much do anything and never met a stranger. He loved to talk and always had to have the last word. He had many adventures some good, some questionable and some make you shake your head. He loved his kids and would speak about them with so much pride and say I can't take the credit...their Mamas did it. He would always have a joke to tell of course it was funny and sometimes dirty. He also loved his his football team RedSkins, Nascar, hunting and fishing. Yes, Michael lived his life like he wanted. In the last 5 months of his life, he found God, and that was a blessing. He told me he had ask God to come into his heart and to forgive him .Im reading my Bible. I told him that was great. He said I did this to myself, no one else. Michael, we love you and will miss you. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art of me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23.I know this sounds like a story...it is...it's just a little bit of Michaels story. He could be a little ''extra'' at times so his obituary had to be too. The family would like to thank Centra Hospice of Farmville, VA for their love, compassion and care for Michael, they are a wonderful group of caring people and Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Keysville, Va for the compassion and care for Michael and treating us like family. A memorial/celebration of life for Michael will be held at his sister's Lisa Burton at 209 Horsepen Rd Farmville, Va on May 11th,2024 at 2 pm.
