Murray Milton Templeton

Murray Milton Templeton, 72, of Farmville, VA passed away on November 22, 2014. He was born in Charlotte County VA to the late Noah J. and Hattie Arrington Templeton on November 29, 1941. He was married to Alice Showalter Templeton for 48 years and together they raised two sons. Murray had a long career in banking, retiring from his position as Vice President of Citizens Bank & Trust Company in Crewe, Virginia, in 2003. Murray is survived by his wife Alice; sons Robert Templeton, and his wife, Michele of Burkeville, VA; and Rick Templeton and his wife, Terry of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by his beloved grandson, David Patrick Templeton; and five sisters--Hazel Harrison, Karen Gibson, Linda McClung, Wanda Stewart and Marcie Templeton. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00AM at Crewe Baptist Church, interment to follow in Crewe Cemetery . Family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crewe Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
