Nancy E. Wilson

Nancy Elvira Wilson departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2009. She was born on September 29, 1915 to William Archer Wilson and Julia Holman Wilson. She received her RN training at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. She served as an RN in the United States Army. Mrs. Wilson received her BS in Nursing from the University of Virginia. She retired as a nursing supervisor from McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond. Ms. Wilson was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and Ruth Chapter No. 8 Eastern Star.
Nancy Wilson was preceded in death by her parents and the following siblings; Mary W. Hurt, William Archer Wilson, Benjamin Allen Wilson, Thornton Holman Wilson, James Hall Wilson, Marshall Edward Wilson, Charlie Howard Wilson, Howell Allen Wilson, and Jack Carrington Wilson.
A funeral service will be held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to Madeline's House Salvation Army, Cumberland Presbyterian Church or an organization of your choice.
