Patricia Elizabeth Reynolds of Farmville, VA passed away in Richmond on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. She was born in Anne Arundel MD on July 18, 1955 to the late Elizabeth Krakar Reynolds and Richard L. Reynolds. She was a freelance writer and editor by trade but also was a paralegal/Tort investigator and substitute teacher. For fun she liked to read and watch old movies, she designed needlepoint and cross stitch charts. She loved going antiquing, which also meant bringing some things home, and traveling. She traveled quite a bit; Athens, Greece, California, New York, Nairobi, Kenya and Scotland. Her favorite was watching the sunrise over the Grand Canyon. She always brought laughter, a warped sense of humor and a zest for and an appreciation of living. She simply loved people, talking to / with them, being around everyone. She loved to talk. I have never been with some one so verbose as well rounded in all subjects when she talked. She believed in living and being alive. I do not think I have ever met anyone who loved the variety of life. She may have had medical problems, but it never slowed or stopped her zest for life. She always had a smile for me or any one who needed it. She was my very best friend. I love her. She is survived by her fiancé’ William M. McCoy and a son, David Glass. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
