Paul S. Lockner

Paul S. Lockner, of Farmville, VA, went home to his Lord and Savior on November 11, 2018, surrounded by family and loved ones. Known to his family as “Papaul” he was a provider, protector, great story-teller, and best friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and a natural born fisherman. Sharing 45 years of love and marriage with his wife Kathryn, they built a foundation of love and giving that all could admire. His amazing spirit and the love he gave will be missed by all fortunate enough to call him family and friend.

Paul is preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Wilson and grandson, Zachary Saunders. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Rhonda Hawkins, Patricia Tolbert, Joyce Pfeiffer, Paula Prescott; sons, Ronald Saunders and Sam Lockner; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12:00Noon at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior starting at 11:00AM at the church. Interment will follow service in the church cemetery.
