Percy Weldon Bowles

Mr. Percy Weldon Bowles, 76 of Pamplin died peacefully at his home with his family at his side. He was born March 14, 1933. He was the son of the late Ronald and Lelia Gallier Bowles of Pamplin, VA. Mr. Bowles served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois Finch Bowles; three daughters, Jo Anne Wilkins and Rick, Jane Hamlett and husband Willie and Janet McCraw and husband, Chip; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his brothers, Ronald Bowles, Jr. of Farmville and Raymond Bowles of Salem and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, June 29, 2009 11:00AM at College Church in Hampden-Sydney with interment in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to College Church or to Hospice of the Hills.
