Phyllis Doss Yeatts

Phyllis Doss Yeatts, 83 of Farmville formerly of Richmond and Roanoke passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Cecil G.Yeatts, Sr.; children Sue Morris (Larry), Cecil G. Yeatts, Jr. (Carol), George Alan (Aileen), and David Lee; grandchildren Edward Bonham (Jessie), Amy Stanley (Jeff), Jeremy, Rachel, Cecil III (Stephanie), Christopher and Jeremi Jones; great grandson Greydon Stanley. Phyllis was formerly of Roanoke and Fincastle. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ruby Doss; brother Frankie; sister Jackie. Phyllis was an Alumnus of Longwood University and longtime member of Farmville Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano for Sunday School and loved visiting residents of nursing homes. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 1:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home.
