Richard John Glowinski

Richard John Glowinski, 72 of Buckingham passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019. He was born in Neustaat/Holstein Germany and raised in Nottoway County at Hyde Park Farm.
Richard graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Degree in Agriculture Education and received his Master’s Degree in Administration from Longwood College. He retired as Director of the Amelia/Nottaway Technical Center. In his retirement he enjoyed working his farm, going to Kill Devil Hills beach, and spending time with his family. He fought a brave battle and helped to find cures for GBM cancer. Richard is survived by his wife Lynne, his daughter Tara McAdorey (Dennis), step daughter Jennifer Fisher, grandchildren Dennis McAdorey, William McAdorey, and Brian McAdorey, and two sisters Lydia Glowinski and Diane Keyser.
