Ricky Lee Companion

Ricky Lee Companion Sr. age 53 of Farmville , VA passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013. He was born in Hopewell VA to Mary Dennis Companion and the late Joseph Companion, Sr. on February 28, 1960. He grew up in Farmville and always stayed very close to his mother and siblings. His favorite pass time was fishing, hunting, camping and watching the Dallas Cowboys win at football. He was known for his loving, giving nature and his famous mustache. He was a very loving father who thought his children were the best. He worked for P&L Construction in Farmville, Va.. He is survived by his mother; Mary Companion, a daughter; Megan Companion, a son; Ricky Lee Companion Jr. a sister; Deborah Baker (Larry), two brothers; Donald and Joey Companion, a special best friend; Ann Slayton and his children’s mother; Lisa Companion. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home at 4:30PM with interment to follow in Westview Cemetery , Farmville , VA.
